RedShip does a lot for its price. You give it your site, keywords and competitors; it watches Reddit, scores each post for relevance, puts the good ones in an inbox and suggests a reply, with no limit on suggestions. It sends alerts by email and Slack, has a REST API and an MCP server, and adds weekly reports on Reddit posts that rank on Google and get cited by AI tools. A USD 12 pass buys a week of the full Founder plan, and there is a public demo inbox.

The differences start with where each one looks and how a reply is written. RedShip is Reddit only. FounderDive looks in nine places, though in honesty almost all of the posts it keeps come from Reddit too. FounderDive scores each post out of 100 and drops anything under 72, then writes the reply only from facts you gave it. A draft that can't cite one is thrown away, so it can't make up a claim about your product.

FounderDive also checks every reply eight ways before you see it: group rules, 9 helpful replies per 1 that mentions you, two weeks off per group, the karma and account age each group needs, the same link in two groups, a shadowban check, never the same post twice, and a freeze on a group where something went wrong. It has no keyword or competitor tracking, no Slack and no MCP server, and it is a younger product.

Use FounderDive if

You want posts from more than Reddit, a reply that only says what's true about your product, and checks that protect the account you reply from.

Use RedShip if

You live on Reddit, want keyword and competitor tracking with Slack alerts or an MCP server, and are happy to write or edit each reply.

Questions

Does RedShip post for me?

No. RedShip suggests a reply and you post it. Its Chrome extension posts from your account only when you click. FounderDive never posts either: you press send.

Which is cheaper to try?

FounderDive's first hunt is free with no card. RedShip has no free plan; its 7-Day Pass is USD 12 one-time (as of 31 Oct 2026).

Does FounderDive track competitors or keywords like RedShip?

No. FounderDive has no keyword or competitor alerts. It looks for posts where someone is asking for what you built. If tracking is what you need, RedShip does it.

Is RedShip better if I only care about Reddit?

It can be. If you want a Reddit inbox with Slack alerts, an API and reports on posts that rank on Google, RedShip has those and we don't. Choose FounderDive if you want the reply written only from your facts and checked against each group's rules.
