Ryphor covers Reddit, Hacker News, Indie Hackers, Stack Exchange and SourceForge on every plan, and adds X, Bluesky, Instagram, Threads, G2 and AlternativeTo on Pro and up. It scores each post for intent, drafts a reply from documents you upload, and adds account-safety features: a posting-pace tracker, an account health score and a flag on groups that ban self-promotion. It also tracks whether AI tools recommend you, and collects complaints about your competitors.
On the core job the two are close, so the difference is in the details. FounderDive scores each post out of 100 and keeps 72 or more. It writes the reply only from facts you gave it, and a draft that can't cite one is thrown away rather than shown to you. Its eight checks run on every reply: group rules re-read every two weeks, 9 helpful replies per 1 that mentions you, two weeks off per group, karma and account age, the same link in two groups, shadowban, never the same post twice, and a freeze on a group where something went wrong.
Ryphor is cheaper while its early-access discount lasts, covers more sites on its higher plans, and offers a no-card trial. FounderDive offers one real hunt free instead of a trial. Both are young; neither publishes customer numbers.
